The Power of Passion podcast

We’ve teamed up with the Be the change. Media Network team (one of 2025’s Big Change Spark Award Winners) on a new podcast.
The Power of Passion explores the value of passion in young people's lives. Our host, Lily will be speaking with young people and intergenerational guests every month to find out what their passion is and why it brings them joy - from everyday hobbies to lifelong callings - and the role that passions play in shaping who we are.
Episode 1: A Passion for Swimming - Our first podcast episode in the series is with Deaflympian swimmer Henry VV Hughes DLY to explore how a childhood love of the water grew into a lifelong passion.
Episode 2: A Passion for Creative Writing - Writer and podcaster Zarin Khan has shared her reflections on her passion for creative writing and how it became a powerful outlet for her self-expression, identity, and personal growth.
Episode 3: A Passion for Hip Hop Dance - In this episode, we're joined by Reuben Byfield, student at University of Warwick and President of Warwick Hip Hop Dance (EQHO), to explore how hip hop became a powerful form of expression, identity, and community in his life.
